About Technocratic
I’ve worked with some amazing technology execs over the years and they've always poured their hearts and minds into their work, driving innovation and pushing boundaries.
Sometimes their efforts pay off and make a huge impact, but often they struggle with moving the needle on the things that matter most.
In fact, it can frequently be very tricky to show ROI on projects.
I’ve been in these shoes before. And I know I'm not alone; I've talked to countless executives who feel the same way.
Time for Change
I think it’s time for technology leadership & management to change.
It's time for us to move from purely technologists to technical business leaders.
We can do that by changing the way we operate:
1. We need to speak a common language with the business that centers around ROI.
2. We need to rely on numbers & metrics the business can digest instead of technical explanations.
3. We need to change the way we measure our own success & progress.
4. We need to guarantee that our work continually aligns with business objectives.
5. We need to frame & message technology in a way that non-technologists can finally understand.
My Journey to Finding Answers
Several years ago I started searching for answers on how to change.
I found that there was a lot of tactical-level resources out there but nothing really existed for the technology executive/leader.
So, I decided to solve CTO problems myself and ended up developing solutions that were simply lacking online.
As part of this work, I decided to create something exclusively for forward-thinking technology leaders who want to keep growing, and are unafraid to learn new things.
That’s how Technocratic came to life.
Introducing Technocratic
Technocratic is a community where like-minded technology leaders come together, solve problems, share experiences and gain strategic insights.
But it’s not just a networking community—it's a place to learn, find new ideas and leverage proven frameworks tailored to help drive real impact from our work.
Technocratic is not just a community; it's a movement for C-suite technology leaders ready to make the switch from just technology to technology that drives business.
Let’s redefine what it means to lead in tech!
